Make the most of elemental attacks in Hyrule Warriors: The Age of the Imprisonment

You might already be maximizing the Zonnan gadgets during combat, but did you know their elemental effects can also be very useful? For example, use a hydrant in muddy areas to have water sweep away enemies or an igneocéfalo to quickly eliminate a colossal glaciarok. Plus, certain allies also have mighty elemental attacks!

Take advantage of camps to restock

After defeating enemies, opening treasure chests, and completing battles, you’ll gather a variety of materials. Then, you can use these resources in camps to gain advantages on the battlefield, such as moving faster, gaining extra experience, or recharging special attacks more quickly.

Materials can be used to supply camps, and you can equip them before each battle. Alternatively, you can set up a new camp in a reclaimed outpost and activate material effects during the battle. By combining materials in different ways, their effects can be amplified, so feel free to experiment without hesitation!

As you progress in the game, you’ll obtain Zonnan steel, a valuable resource that can be used in the armory to upgrade your weapons. You can also disassemble weapons you don’t need to increase your Zonnan steel stock. Each weapon type (swords, spears, etc.) has a specific Zonnan steel version, and in some cases, the metal may have a unique seal. Apply these seals to your weapons when you upgrade them to gain extra advantages, such as dealing more damage or charging sync attacks faster.
Plan attacks carefully with exclusive actions

Exclusive actions can take down hordes of enemies with a single strike, but it’s best to save them for the right moment. Sometimes, larger enemies will emit a red glow before launching a dangerous attack, but using the correct exclusive action at that moment can stop their offensive and create an opportunity for a brutal counterattack!

Don’t forget about your allies either, as swapping them at the right time can trigger a powerful relay attack!
Send your allies to specific objectives in Hyrule Warriors: The Age of the Imprisonment

From the menu, you can assign objectives to each member of your team. Just select a teammate, choose a target on the map, and that’s it! This option is especially useful when multiple outposts are under attack simultaneously. You can send each hero to a different target and switch quickly between them to eliminate enemy troops in a flash.
Remember that we’ve already tested it on Nintenderos and you can find our final review here.
