It seems we have more news after YS X: Nordics that was already released in Japan for Nintendo Switch on September 28, 2023. Now we have news about its extended version.

In this case, after learning about the Western press notes it has been confirmed that the demo has already been released in the West. Now, new details about this extended edition called YS X: Proud Nordics have been confirmed. It was revealed a few weeks ago that it will be released in Japan for Nintendo Switch 2 on July 31, 2025, and a bit later for other Asian countries.

- This version of the game will include a special performance mode that will allow playing at 120 frames per second (FPS).
- There will also be a default mode that will run at 60 fps.
- Compared to the original version for Nintendo Switch, which aimed for 30 fps with possible drops.
- And on Switch 2, 60 FPS is now the standard, which represents a significant improvement.
Undoubtedly, the 120 FPS mode is an attractive feature, as few titles on Switch 2 have offered it so far. We’ll have to keep an eye out to see when it launches in the West.
You already know that Ys X: Nordics features the protagonists, Adol Christin and Karja Balta, whose destinies intertwine due to the mysterious power of Mana. They are caught in a conflict between two factions: the Normans and the immortal Griegers. Players will switch between Adol and Karja, combining their unique abilities to defeat enemies and unleash devastating attacks. The game also highlights the power of Mana to overcome challenges, along with naval exploration on the sailing ship called Sandras.
