Amazon officially announced a few months ago a television series of Tomb Raider, and now it has been confirmed a rumor that we heard last year: Sophie Turner, known for her role in Game of Thrones, has been confirmed as the new interpreter of Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider series coming to Prime Video.
The series is created, written, and co-produced by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), and its production started on January 19. Turner takes over from Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander, who previously played the iconic character in the movies.
