We bring news regarding the launch of this pack whose original announcement came from the Nintendo Direct. We are talking about the Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 compilation for Switch. It will be released on October 2, 2025. The related amiibo will be launched on April 2, 2026, and now we have more details after learning their prices.

Now, after confirming general improvements and exclusive improvements on Nintendo Switch 2, it seems the game has sold out in stores like Amazon Spain. It was available for 69.99€ but the stock has been replenished and it’s now discounted to 59.99€.

It’s the top-selling game in this and other stores, and now we have information about the compatibility of this pack with the mouse mode of the Nintendo Switch 2. As explained by Eurogamer:

• The game on Switch 2 does not take full advantage of the mouse controls, even though the console allows it.
• The Joy-Con 2 can be used as a mouse, but only in the Way Cooperative (co-op mode) for a second player.
• In single-player mode, the mouse cannot be used at any time.
• Nintendo probably considered it too uncomfortable, as the right hand would also need to use the analog stick to control Mario.
• It would have been possible to have a solution where a player with split Joy-Con alternated between stick and mouse in specific moments, but that option does not exist.
