Compra por 12$ un juego valorado en 1000$: ha ocurrido en una tienda de Las Vegas y es este raro título de Famicom
As some of you know, NES despite its technical limitations, was fundamental in the creation of iconic works of art in the world of video games. Now we have a curious detail related to this legendary console, specifically its Japanese counterpart Famicom.
The news is about the game IGO Meikan released for Famicom in 1990, a rare title that includes Go championship repetitions and can reach prices exceeding $1,000 in the retro market. The collector Bro3256 managed to find a copy at the Pink Gorilla Games store in Las Vegas for just $12, thanks to his father recognizing the cartridge and informing him via FaceTime.
The store owner, Kelsey Lewin, celebrated the purchase and confirmed that the game had been on sale since May 2025, highlighting that it’s still possible to find authentic deals in the retro gaming world at laughable prices.
