El sitio web de Pokémon Center Online en Japón sufre intentos de inicio de sesión no autorizados

We’ve received new information about the franchise. After learning about an updated study on the most popular Pokémon by country in 2024, Pokémon Co. has revealed that the Japanese website Pokémon Center Online was shut down in June due to multiple unauthorized login attempts.

They state that this forced them to take measures to protect user information. As a response, all passwords were reset and users are required to create a new secure password that they haven’t used before on this site or others. Additionally, new security measures will be implemented, including two-step authentication starting from August 2025.

Users who log in starting on July 3rd will be asked to change their password, taking into account the following conditions:

1. Set a password that has never been used before on the Pokémon Center Online website
2. Set a password that is not in use and has never been used before on other websites.
3. Set a password that cannot be easily guessed by third parties. This means customers should avoid using passwords that contain personal information, such as their name and date of birth.
