Guía de Builds de Ghost of Yōtei: Enfoques Creativos para Derrotar a los Seis
A yellow kimono. A deteriorated lacquered hat. The Ghost’s mask with a kintsugi effect.
Atsu’s outfits from the trailers and art of Ghost of Yōtei are more than just a simple outfit and have become iconic. Even though this is the outfit you start with, you’ll soon be seeking improved armor and special gear if you want to survive in Ezo.
Knowing the challenges you’ll face, the developer SuckerPunch has introduced a build system in Ghost of Yōtei that allows players to combine the unique features of armor and outfits with the blessings granted by talismans found throughout the world. Initially, you can have three builds, and as you progress, you’ll have space to store up to five simultaneously.
To help you hunt the Six of Yōtei, we’ve prepared a selection of unique builds for you to try during your journey across Japan’s frontiers. Keep in mind that this guide shows the names of armor sets and talismans, but it doesn’t contain spoilers or specific details. However, our recommendation is to spend a few hours exploring Ezo on your own before diving into this article.
The Warrior: Combat and close-range
Focused on destabilizing damage and ideal for taking on multiple enemies at once, this build grants extra health, boosts your ability to push enemies, and provides a solid foundation during combat scenarios.
To maximize this build, focus on parrying attacks and using heavy strikes to destabilize enemies quickly, but ensure you choose the right weapon for each enemy, as the armor’s abilities only work when using the correct weapon.

The Ghost: Stealth and assassination
Ideal for infiltration missions or when there are too many enemies and they haven’t noticed you yet. This build reduces the enemy detection speed and allows you to eliminate multiple enemies at once silently.
For this build, stay out of sight and approach enemies stealthily to trigger the chain assassination ability and quickly take down several enemies. If detected, use sake bottles and smoke bombs to return to the shadows.

The Dragonfly: Ranged

The Duelist: Risk and Win
A risky option, this build is about precision and allows you to charge against opponents as long as your attacks are synchronized. It’s especially useful in one-on-one duels.
Here, perfect dodges are key; performing one lets you land multiple hits on the opponent while maintaining or restoring your health through the chosen talismans. But be careful: regular dodges are nullified, which makes you vulnerable to devastating hits if you don’t act within the correct window. That’s why this build heavily relies on health advantages.

- Advantages:
- The time available to perform a perfect dodge or evade increases, but regular dodges are nullified

The Firefly: Fast Chaos
Focused on the use of flaming kunai, this chaotic build allows you to overwhelm enemy groups while the armor and talismans increase fire damage and duration, igniting enemies and melting their shields.
The attributes of this build can replenish kunai through assassinations and looting, keeping the fire attack active.
- Armor: Nine-Tailed Armor
- How to obtain: Kitsune mission
- Advantages:
- Increases damage from fast-attacking weapons and the duration of status effects

These builds will help you hunt the Six of Yōtei, but they’re not the only options. Combining any of the many available armor pieces with your preferred talisman combination allows you to create a build that perfectly fits your playstyle.
Experiment and discover what works best for you. You’ll need all the help you can get to take on the Snake, the Oni, the Kitsune, the Spider, the Dragon, and Lord Saito.
