We are receiving new updates for Hyrule Warriors: The Era of Exile! After learning about the Direct announcements, we now have more details about Nintendo Switch 2 from this direct.

You know that this release is set to be a highly promising one, and they’ve already confirmed coming amiibo figures. It was already confirmed that the game features epic, large-scale battles against enemies and tells an exclusive story about the distant past of Hyrule and the War of Exile, which precedes the events of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Today’s news comes from the confirmed details in the latest Creator’s Voice. Ryota Matsushita, producer at Koei Tecmo, has confirmed that this title initially started as a game for Nintendo Switch. However, during development, they decided to switch to Switch 2, and thanks to the improved technical specifications, the final result has been remarkably better.

The AAA studio hasn’t stopped there. Matsushita also revealed that they have several other games in development. So, if you’re a fan of the musou genre and the Zelda universe, there are some exciting moves coming up.

And don’t forget that Nintendo has already confirmed it is canon and that it will be released in 2025!
