Los productores de Metal Gear Solid están capacitando a desarrolladores más jóvenes para continuar la serie

Interesting statements, especially regarding the debut of Metal Gear Solid Delta. They come after the recent compilation of games in the franchise confirmed in its original announcement for Nintendo Switch as Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1. After this volume, we also received statements about a Vol. 2.

We are sure you remember some hints pointing to this Vol. 2 as well as its official confirmation. We also know that Metal Gear Solid Delta will be released on August 28, 2025. You know that for now it’s not confirmed for Nintendo platforms, although there are rumors that it could arrive on Switch 2.

In any case, we now know that Konami is working to revitalize the Metal Gear saga, despite the absence of Hideo Kojima, training new developers to learn how to create and experience the essence of the series. The main goal is to form a solid team that can continue Kojima’s legacy and develop exciting games in the future.

«One of the reasons we’re bringing in so many new and young developers is because we not only wanted to give them the opportunity to discover how to create and develop a Metal Gear game, but also to experience it themselves», says producer Noriaki Okamura in a recent meeting With Rolling Stone. «We’ll stay here for a while, but right now the goal is to form a team that can continue the legacy in our name and hopefully produce more exciting games in the future».
