Nintendo parece despedir directamente a los empleados que provocan leaks

It seems we have new details on how Nintendo handles leaks. The company has accustomed us to releasing some of the best games for Nintendo Switch and now also for Nintendo Switch 2 but it’s true that sometimes leaks slip out. Now, former members of Nintendo’s marketing team, Kit and Krysta, have provided details.

They consider that most of the company’s leaks come from third parties such as developers and manufacturers, and not from internal employees. In the rare cases where the leak comes from someone within Nintendo, they ensure that the company «acts quickly», implying they are fired immediately.

«In Nintendo, the management of the original team remains quite strict», says Krysta. «Literally, you feared God and your job, getting fired; that fear was very real. We joked about the Nintendo Ninjas but they were real employees of the company; their job is to investigate leaks. There is a team in Nintendo paid to do it. They are elite and very good at their job», she adds.
