Nintendo Switch recibe su actualización 20.0.0: la más grande en años que la prepara para Switch 2

This is version 20.0.0 and includes the following:

• Virtual Game Card

  • Digital software purchased for Nintendo Switch, DLC, and some free titles are now virtual game cards and appear in a list within this menu.

  • You can load and eject virtual game cards between up to two Nintendo Switch consoles.

  • Virtual game cards can be borrowed by other members of the same family group on the Nintendo account. For more information, see the Virtual Game Card Guide.

• Gameshare

  • Compatible software can be shared from a Nintendo Switch 2 to other nearby consoles to play together.

  • Only local wireless communication can be used for joint play, and it must be initiated from a Nintendo Switch 2.

  • This feature is not compatible between two Nintendo Switch consoles, Switch – OLED Model, and/or Switch Lite.

Other updates:

• User Verification Settings has been added in User > User Settings.

• Online License Settings has been added.

  • When activated, you can play downloaded software or purchased DLC while the console is connected to the internet, even if you don’t have a virtual game card inserted.

  • For more information, see the corresponding option in the system settings screen.

• The icons of Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Switch News in the HOME menu have changed color.

• You can now select and transfer multiple saved data at once in the «Transfer Your Saved Data» menu.

• The option System Transfer to Nintendo Switch 2 has been added in System Settings > System.

  • You can perform the transfer from your Nintendo Switch to a Switch 2 via local communication.

  • If you will lose access to your Switch before receiving the Switch 2, you can upload the system transfer data to a dedicated server and retrieve it later on the Switch 2.

  • Warning: After uploading the data to the server, the original console will reset to factory settings. Only do this if you are sure you will be able to complete the transfer on the Switch 2.

  • If you plan to continue using your Switch until you receive the Switch 2, it is recommended to perform the local transfer once you already have the Switch 2.

  • An internet connection and a Nintendo account are required to complete both transfer methods.

• The appearance of some user icons has been updated.
