It seems like another case of a Nintendo Switch surviving a fire. On the web, you can review the 110 best Nintendo Switch games in 2025 but now we have different news. A Nintendo Switch console, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons edition from had survived a household fire and the subsequent use of water to extinguish it.

Now we have another story shared on Reddit: the user Whitewolf255 has shared that his console survived intact from a fire that destroyed his house. Although the base became unusable, it seems it acted as a shield, allowing the Switch to still work and be playable. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, whose cause is still under investigation.
