Sonic Racing Crossworlds no sale muy bien parado frente a Mario Kart World en la primera comparativa de ventas

After learning its initial character roster we now have more news. We’re talking about the new Sonic racing game for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. We’re discussing Sonic Racing Crossworlds!

After the collaboration with Beyblade X as well as the one with Pac-Man, we now have more details following its official beta. And indeed, apart from that beta which has already ended, it has been confirmed that a standard demo.

The game has already been released on Switch, with a Switch 2 version coming later. Recently, its final collaboration was confirmed and now we’ve learned about its new sales data from Japan. As we saw this afternoon in the last week of sales in Japan, Mario from Mario Kart by Nintendo remained strong in second place with 35,027 copies sold, reaching a total of 1,801,323 copies sold, while Sonic Racing: Crossworlds debuted in the ninth position with 5,571 copies sold in its Switch version, while versions for other platforms did not enter the top 10.

It will be important to watch how its sales develop in other continents. Remember that in the UK, the racing game debuted in fourth place and also failed to surpass Mario Kart World in the weekly top. The rivalry between both games intensified a few days ago after the release of a new trailer for Crossworlds mocking Mario Kart World.
