Surgen más detalles de la nueva edición física de GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition

It seems we have news about this physical edition of Nintendo Switch. This detail has been recently published and focuses on GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition and its new physical edition. After its release filled with memes and the promise of updates, we have now learned that a new patch is available which has already arrived on Nintendo Switch.

Three years after its original debut, a new physical edition was confirmed in America last week. Later in Europe a boxart was revealed that includes the message that this «physical» edition is actually Code-in-Box. If that’s the case, it would come without a cartridge and only with a download code, which would be worse than the original release.

In America, the box does not include the usual label indicating a code, which had left fans wondering how the edition would be there. Today’s news gives us more clues for America: the user @Wario64 shares that one of his followers got their copy of GTA on Amazon and the cover indicates it requires an additional download. At least it seems that here it does include a cartridge, but they still have to download part of the content.

Although Rockstar has not officially announced it, this version is already available, with an updated cover and a reduced price of 30 dollars compared to the previous 60. Amazon.com lists it with a release date of July 28, 2025, and you can check its availability here.
