Ya he jugado a Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar y apunta a ser un gran remake del clásico de DS

Less than a month remains until the arrival of Nintendo Switch 2 and we are already testing some of the games that will arrive during the first months of the console’s life. This time, we come to talk to you about Seasons of Life: Grand Bazaar, a remake full of new features that adapts the classic Nintendo DS title to Nintendo Switch and which, according to Marvelous Games, will also have a version for Nintendo Switch 2 at launch.

A new life in Cefiro Village

Anyone who knows Seasons of Life will know the playable cycle of this title: settling in a new town, getting to know its people, falling in love and getting married, participating in their festivals, going to the mine, growing food, raising animals… All this while following a very touching and relaxing story. And this installment is no different in that aspect, although it includes some unique features that have caught our attention.

One of the great differentiating features of this installment of the franchise is the weekly bazaar feature, which returns with a new layer of paint as we expected. In this small mini-game, we will have to sell the products we have obtained (crops we have planted, animal feed we have raised…) to the townspeople.

Other positive surprises we have experienced have been the implementation of a double jump mechanic and another to glide with a delta wing when falling from great heights, as well as the optional return of character portraits, something fans had been asking for a long time and that finally returns in this installment. Of course, there are also new romances (there are two new suitors) or the possibility of riding a horse and doing the most daring races.

An endearing story adapted to new times

In this version for Nintendo Switch, Seasons of Life: Grand Bazaar feels better than ever, not only with refined gameplay and new features such as those listed above, but also with the addition of new cutscenes, a great English and Japanese voiceover, and a Spanish localization of top quality as the series has been accustomed to for several installments now.

After testing the game on the hybrid console, the impressions have been good, and the knowledge that it will be one of the first games of its genre in Nintendo Switch 2 makes us think that we are in for one of the best adventures in the series. Of course, we still have a lot to discover about the game, but our impressions have certainly been more positive than we thought.
